FINAL Emmy Nominations Predictions

The nominations are announced for the Primetime Emmy Awards for 2015 tomorrow and we will finally, after months of debating, find out who the lucky few are who will contest the biggest prize in Television. I’m normally only interested in film awards, but this year’s TV race has really grabbed me this year and I’ve worked on my predictions to try and get the perfect combination of nominees. Let’s hope for the best as here are my FINAL Emmy predictions (ranked in order of likelihood of winning):

Best Comedy Series: Veep, Silicon Valley, Transparent, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory, Louie, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

Best Drama Series: Game of Thrones, Mad Men, House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Empire, Downton Abbey, Better Call Saul.

Best Actor (Comedy): Jeffrey Tambor (Transparent), Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), William H. Macy (Shameless), Louis C.K. (Louie), Matt LeBlanc (Episodes), Billy Crystal (The Comedians).

Best Actress (Comedy): Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Veep), Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation), Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Amy Schumer (Inside Amy Schumer), Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin), Ellie Kemper (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt).

Best Actor (Drama): Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Kevin Spacey (House of Cards), Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul), Terrence Howard (Empire), Jeff Daniels (The Newsroom), Clive Owen (The Knick).
