FIRST BAFTA and Golden Globes 2016 Predictions!

I’ve done my best guess at who will be receiving Oscar nominations in 2016, some of which have changed and I will inform you of those changes in my next Oscar predictions post, and now it’s time for some of the precursors to get the early predictions treatment, and it’s my two favourite ceremonies: the British Academy Film Awards and the Golden Globe Awards. They have some different categories but most of the main players will be in all 3. So, from knowing what we know so far, here’s my best stab at who will be receiving those coveted nominations. Winners in Bold.

BAFTAs

Best Supporting Actress: Helena Bonham Carter (Suffragette), Ellen Page (Freeheld), Rooney Mara (Carol), Meryl Streep (Suffragette), Julie Walters (Brooklyn).

Best Original Screenplay: Bridge of Spies, The Hateful Eight, Inside Out, Joy, Suffragette.

Best Adapted Screenplay: Carol, The Danish Girl, Macbeth, The Revenant, Steve Jobs.

Best Animated Feature: The Good Dinosaur, Inside Out, Shaun the Sheep Movie.
