Predicted Acting Winners (Clockwise from Top Left): Sylvester Stallone as Rocky Balboa in Creed, Brie Larson as Joy “Ma” Newsome in Room, Leonardo DiCaprio as Hugh Glass in The Revenant, and Alicia Vikander as Gerda Wegener in The Danish Girl.

So we have reached the end of another awards season, and it’s been an exciting one. We’ve seen 3 films all fighting it out for Best Picture. We’ve seen a split at the major guilds, we’ve seen different films sweeping at different organisations, we’ve seen an increasing consensus on the acting, directing, and writing winners. And now I’m ready to submit my FINAL predictions for the 88th Academy Awards. I’d like to thank all the editors at for their slugfests, exclusive odds, and predictions centre, which is a massive help in creating my picks. I’d like to thank Clayton Davis, and all of the writers at for their brilliant Oscar coverage and podcasts. I’d like to thank all the awards bloggers on Twitter, etc. for their insightful comments. I’d like to thank all the filmmakers, actors, crew members, etc., for all the great films that have been released this year. It’s a rare year where I like pretty much every film nominated at the Oscars that I have seen. And I’d finally like to thank everyone who has read, and followed this blog this season. It’s greatly appreciated. So, enjoy the show, and let’s see how my predictions do!
