FIRST Primetime Emmy Awards 2016 Predictions

Now the film awards season is over, it’s TV’s turn to shine, with the Emmy nominations coming in July and the ceremony coming in September. And while that may seem a long while away, it’s actually the next 2 months where the race really hots up, as we get to see all the content that is eligible this season, with new seasons of Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Silicon Valley, Veep, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt all being released, while other contenders, such as Transparent, Downton Abbey, Mr. Robot, Master of None, and Orange is the New Black, can all build on the buzz they have received thus far for their work that as already been released. With the likes of Mad Men, Parks & Recreation, Episodes, Bloodline, and Louie out of the picture this year for various reasons, it’s time to see which new contenders emerge, with new shows such as Mr. Robot, Vinyl, and Master of None looking to breakthrough, while shows like Mozart in the Jungle, Broad City, and Black-ish are all looking for some overdue attention.
